Association Home Page! The Hudson-Catskill Music Teachers
Association (HCMTA) is a non-profit organization made up of the
music educators living and teaching in Orange, Ulster, Sullivan and Dutchess counties in New York. HCMTA is dedicated to the music
education of all students and seeks to advance the quality of
education and performance expertise in all areas of music
teaching.
The HCMTA is a subchapter (District 5) of the
New York State Music Teachers Association, Inc. (NYSMTA), a
professional association of over 700 music teachers located
throughout the state of New York. The HCMTA coordinates
student and teacher recitals throughout the district and
provides referrals for private lessons, both voice and
instrumental.
